My Story

Hello, I’m Elmar Cilliers.

For a long time, I was just drifting. I failed my first degree three times, had no direction, and was coasting through life without purpose. Then my brother passed away, and everything changed. That loss was the moment I realised how short life really is. It woke me up.

I took a chance on myself, joined a small boutique real estate company, and decided to swim instead of sink. Seven days later, I made my first sale. That one deal became the start of everything.

Five years on, I’ve built my business through hard lessons, late nights, and a lot of trial and error. I’ve learnt that success doesn’t come from luck — it comes from structure, consistency, and discipline. The same things I’ve found in sport. Whether it’s padel, cricket, underwater hockey, CrossFit, or running, every challenge has taught me how to keep showing up when it matters most.

My brother’s passing gave me perspective. Real estate gave me purpose. Coaching is how I bring those lessons together — helping agents build lives and businesses they can be proud of, long after the next sale.

And so, The Million Dollar agent was born!
